Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Damien The Devil (ranked 6201 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luke Lukas (ranked 7600 p4p, 0 weight class). Damien The Devil could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Luke Lukas's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Devil scores with a body shot.

The Devil gets a clinch.

The Devil escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
The Devil tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Lukas defends well and The Devil ends up having to push Lukas into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Lukas closes the distance and clinches up with The Devil, looking for a takedown. Lukas pushes The Devil against the cage but The Devil circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Lukas tries to clinch up but The Devil circles away and keeps his distance.
Lukas stuffs the takedown.
The Devil stuffs the takedown attempt from Lukas. Lukas gets slowly back to his feet.

The Devil gets a clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The Devil wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Lukas has him pressed against the cage.
Lukas on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
The Devil is pressed up against the cage. Lukas has hold of a leg and is looking to drag The Devil down to the mat. The Devil avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Damien The Devil has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Luke Lukas.

That's one minute gone in the round.
The Devil paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
The Devil shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Lukas as he avoids it easily.
And Lukas tries to counter it with a takedown but The Devil pushes his down on his head and steps out.

It looks like Luke Lukas has been cut.
The Devil shoots in for a takedown but Lukas shows good takedown defense.
Lukas drops down looking to force a counter takedown but The Devil defends it well.
The Devil misses with a jab, cross combination.
Lukas feints the counter takedown.
The Devil shoots in but no luck this time.

The Devil rushes Lukas and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Lukas is working for takedown but The Devil is calmly controlling the position for now.
Lukas has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by The Devil after a bit of a struggle.

The Devil manages to break the clinch.

The Devil tries to sprawl but Lukas drives through with a takedown into half guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
The Devil wants to control the action here but instead Lukas manages to pass to full mount!
The Devil is hanging on here. He's in a desperate position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Lukas with a couple of short strikes.
Lukas can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as The Devil is looking to escape.
Lukas might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control The Devil haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
The Devil on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if The Devil tries to get out of the position.
The Devil knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Lukas on the ground.
Lukas prevents The Devil from getting the reversal.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Lukas trying to control but The Devil is having none of it.
The Devil is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Lukas is working for a guillotine from mount but The Devil frees his head quite easily.
Lukas lands a nice shot to the head.
The Devil is trying desperately to improve position.
Lukas is dominating on the ground here - he's now on his opponent's back, looking to sink in the hooks. The Devil is in real trouble.

The Devil is trying to shake Lukas off. He's managed it and has hopped back to his feet! Lukas won't be happy about giving up the dominant position.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The Devil fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Lukas avoids it really well and circles away.
The Devil darts in looking for a takedown but Lukas gets double underhooks and turns The Devil into the cage.

The Devil closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Lukas to the mat! Lukas manages to get full guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Lukas is on top in guard.

The Devil avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Lukas is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as The Devil holds on and takes a little breather.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Damien The Devil will probably get the nod.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

The Devil clinches up against the cage.
The Devil is looking to take this one to the mat.
The Devil wants to break free but Lukas has control.

The Devil gets control of Lukas's arms and successfully pulls guard. The Devil will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Lukas slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Lukas has an Americana. The Devil didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Lukas is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Lukas hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
