Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Sasha Banks (ranked 5295 p4p, 0 weight class) and Christoph Le Eskine (ranked 5175 p4p, 0 weight class). Banks comes to the cage accompanied by Sky's the Limit. The key to victory for Sasha Banks has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Christoph Le Eskine!
The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Reed Andrews and Alyssa Summers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Banks plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!

Banks tries a head kick but it misses.
Le Eskine looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Banks lands with a slapping head kick.
Banks misses with a head kick.

Le Eskine shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Banks napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Banks sneaks back into half guard.

Le Eskine is looking for a kimura but Banks is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Le Eskine to get the leverage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Banks won't allow Le Eskine to pass to mount.
Banks is trying to get back to full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Banks is working hard here to advance position.
Le Eskine is looking to advance position but Banks won't allow it.

Banks wants to control but Le Eskine is keeping busy.
Le Eskine is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Le Eskine stops Banks from getting back to his feet.
Le Eskine is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Banks!

Le Eskine takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Banks tries to lock up and control but Le Eskine gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Le Eskine is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Banks to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Banks shrugs it off.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Banks is trying to reverse the position but instead Le Eskine has taken his back - oops!
Le Eskine keeps control of the position easily here as Banks tries to buck him off.
Banks breaks Le Eskine's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

Well, if Le Eskine is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Le Eskine tries to take his opponent's back but Banks turns with him and manages to move into guard on the top. Nice work.
