PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Pormax Zamar (ranked 8199 p4p, 603 weight class) and Chief Eyes (ranked 6493 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Pormax Zamar has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Pormax Zamar seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Eyes tries to clinch but Zamar is having none of it.
Zamar went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Eyes wants to clinch up but Zamar keeps it at a distance.

Zamar shoots for a takedown but Eyes saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Zamar changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Eyes tries to avoid it but Zamar manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Eyes to the ground. Eyes escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Zamar really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Zamar goes for a double leg but Eyes avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Eyes continues to drive forward.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Pormax Zamar. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Zamar circles away from the clinch attempt.
Eyes tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Zamar paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Eyes is looking to clinch but Zamar is avoiding it.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Eyes closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Zamar! Eyes dives in looking to finish! Zamar is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
