Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mickey Sapolu!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Steve Steward!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Alyssa Summers and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sapolu tries to clinch up but Steward circles away and keeps his distance.
Steward slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
It looks like Mickey Sapolu has been cut.
Steward fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Sapolu looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Sapolu gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Steward.
Steward connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Sapolu's hands.
Steward getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Steward thuds his right hand into Sapolu's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Sapolu is rocked!
Sapolu bobbing and weaving nicely... He's ducked under a jab and ducks again but ooooooh! Steward comes at him with an uppercut from hell! Sapolu falls to the canvas, unconscious! This one is all over! Oh man, looking at the replay that was right on the button! Sapolu was out before he hit the floor!
