The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quickly avoids the body shot from Figg.
Figg looks to score with a jab to the body but Quickly is just out of range.
Quickly throws a big shot that misses.
Quickly tries to close the distance and clinch but Figg swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Quickly staying out of range there.
Tires Quickly seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Quickly is looking to clinch.

Figg swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Figg uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Quickly.

Figg went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.

Quickly throws out a counter right but Figg avoids it with no problem.
Quickly connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Quickly waves his right hand out in front of him, looking to distract Figg. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Figg to the canvas! Can he finish him!?
It looks like Raycon Figg has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Figg bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Quickly's guard.
Figg working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Quickly's head.
Figg passes into half guard.
We've been hearing good reports from Figg's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
Figg blocks the strikes from Quickly.
Figg looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Figg jabs Quickly right on the nose. Quickly blinks but takes it well.

Quickly lands a nice shot that snaps Figg's head back.
Figg displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Quickly throws out the jab.

Figg uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Quickly.
Quickly looks winded!
Quickly on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
A looping hook to the body misses from Figg. Quickly does a little dance to reset his feet.
Figg takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Quickly takes one to the side of the head.
Quickly misses with a hook.
Quickly moves away from the strike by Figg.
Tires Quickly is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Quickly misses with a looping left.
A slapping leg kick lands for Figg.
Quickly lands a nice shot that snaps Figg's head back.

Figg looks to score with a jab to the body but Quickly is just out of range.
Figg closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Figg seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Quickly is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
