Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Antonio Ricardo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Neil Martin!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Alexandre Firmino and Edson Gomes.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ricardo has a takedown stuffed.
Neil Martin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ricardo throws a combination. Martin tries to block but a couple of punches get through.


It looks like Neil Martin has been cut.

Ricardo closes the distance and pushes Martin back into the cage.

Martin's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Martin throws a jab but it's blocked by Ricardo.
Martin wants to clinch but Ricardo slips to the side
and Ricardo counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Ricardo tries to close the distance and clinch up but Martin swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Martin forces Ricardo back against the cage and clinches.
Ricardo is trying to drag Martin to the mat but Martin just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Martin can't break the clinch.
Martin wants to break the clinch but can't.

Ricardo decides to pull guard.
Ricardo is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Ricardo looking for a sweep. Not yet Ricardo, not yet.
Martin thows a big elbow that misses.
Martin controlling from the top position.
Martin really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ricardo. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Martin postures up.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Martin not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Ricardo has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Martin should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Ricardo has tightened it up now! Martin should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
