Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Abdul Lee (ranked 24784 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ben Tong (ranked 5936 p4p, 0 weight class). Abdul Lee is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Paul Gruel and Colin Fray.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tong drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Lee gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
Lee is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Tong tries to control but Lee wriggling away.
Tong throwing strikes here but Lee is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Lee could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Tong is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Lee to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Lee shrugs it off.

Tong is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
It looks like Tong might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Tong accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!



Tong looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Lee!
Tong has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Tong remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
Lee can't do much from the bottom here.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Tong. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

Tong not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Let's hope that Tong has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Tong closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Tong drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Lee dives on top into guard.

Tong lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Tong distracts Lee with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Tong wants to control from the top but Lee keeps moving.

Ben Tong is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Tong drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Tong as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Lee screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Tong! Nice submission victory there!
