The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Viper misses with a leg kick
and Willshire decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Viper's guard.
Viper pushes Willshire off and scrambles back to his feet.
Willshire fails with an attempt to clinch.
Willshire throws a nice looking combination but Viper bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Willshire looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Perdue Willshire seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Viper shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Willshire napping and manages to drive through into side control!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Viper wants to control from the top but Willshire keeps moving.

Anthony Viper overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Willshire is trying to control Viper's posture but Viper avoids it.

Viper lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Willshire down.
Willshire dodges the ground and pound from Viper.

Willshire is rocked!
The referee asks Viper politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Viper prefers to stall for the moment though.
Viper looks up at the clock and then as Willshire takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Viper smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Willshire is still in real trouble! Can Viper finish him?
Viper cracks Willshire with a big right hand but Willshire just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Viper scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Willshire is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Viper can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
