Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Demetri Puleveski!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 28 - 39 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Pozar Pozar!
The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Lou da Vinci and Reed Andrews.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pozar has a takedown stuffed.

Puleveski throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Pozar tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Puleveski is in Pozar's guard.

Pozar is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Pozar is looking to stand up but Puleveski isn't so interested in that idea.

Pozar is looking for a triangle but Puleveski pushes his legs off easily.
Pozar lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Pozar wants to control from the top but Puleveski keeps moving.

Pozar might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Puleveski haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Pozar bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Puleveski's guard.

Pozar makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Pozar looking to sit in guard and control but Puleveski gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Pozar throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Pozar is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Puleveski really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Pozar has momentary wrist control but Puleveski slips an elbow through the middle.

Pozar is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Demetri Puleveski dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

It looks like Pozar Pozar has been cut.
Puleveski drops Pozar with a straight right hand, right on the button! Puleveski follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
