The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rickerson closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Ramsey's guard.
Ramsey trying to strike off his back.
Ramsey wants to get back to his feet but Rickerson is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Rickerson is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ramsey keeping full guard, as Rickerson tries to pass.
Ramsey wants to stand and escape but Rickerson is having none of it.
Rickerson is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.

Ramsey wants to get back to his feet but Rickerson is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Rickerson is in close to Ramsey's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Ramsey pushes Rickerson off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Ramsey gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Rickerson postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Ramsey covers up, he's hurt! Rickerson keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Rickerson and the ref steps in to end the fight! Rickerson can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
