The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hart tries to close the distance and clinch but Cringle swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Cringle is fighting to break Hart's control of his arms but Hart is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Hart wants to stand and escape but Cringle is having none of it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cringle in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Hart tries to move into range but Cringle moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Hart jumps guard but Cringle stands there with Hart around his waist. Hart gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

The referee calls for Hart to work.
Hart swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Hart looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Hart walks into a left hand.
Hart tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Cringle manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Cringle tries to counter by clinching up but Hart breaks away and moves out of range.

Cringle moves into range and clinches up with Hart.

Hart escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Hart covers up and Cringle unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
