Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Isaac Wheeler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Drake Leal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Isaac Wheeler!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Drake Leal!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wheeler keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Leal.
Leal fails to land with a series of punches.
Leal looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Wheeler is fending him off so far but Leal persists. Nope, Wheeler circles away and we're back to standing.
Wheeler fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Leal shoots in and drives through. Wheeler sprawls well.

Leal drives through with a takedown into guard.
Leal pushes down on Wheeler's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Leal trying to control the pace.
Leal wants to pass the guard but Wheeler is defending well.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
I looks like Leal might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Leal looks gassed!
Wheeler tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Leal wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Leal happy to just control the position for now.

Leal tries to advance to mount but Wheeler instead regains half guard.

Despite being in the dominant position, Drake Leal just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Leal gets the takedown into side control.
Leal wants to lay and pray for a moment but Wheeler keeps working.

Wheeler tries to improve position but can't.
Wheeler is working hard here to advance position.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Leal staying calm.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Drake Leal dominated that round.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Wheeler tries to clinch but Leal moves out of range.
Wheeler shoots in looking for a takedown. Leal tries to sprawl out of it but Wheeler keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Leal manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Wheeler wants to clinch up but Leal keeps it at a distance.
Wheeler shoots in for a double leg but Leal sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Isaac Wheeler. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Wheeler closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Leal's corner is telling him to maintain position.

Wheeler wants to stand but Leal has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Leal really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Wheeler. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Leal is pulling down on Wheeler's head to control his posture.
Leal wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Wheeler is now in half guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Leal slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.

Drake Leal showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Wheeler darts in and clinches Leal up against the cage.
Wheeler with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
Leal goes for a takedown in the clinch but Wheeler prevents it.
Wheeler lands a damaging elbow.

Wheeler connects with a nasty looking knee right to Leal's face.
Wheeler wants to stall.
Wheeler creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Leal's defenses.
Wheeler landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
Leal blocks an elbow strike.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Leal goes for a takedown attempt but Wheeler pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Isaac Wheeler has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Drake Leal.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.

Wheeler drives through and clinches with Leal against the cage.

Wheeler manages to pull guard.

Leal wants to control from the top but Wheeler keeps moving.
Leal looking to sit in guard and control but Wheeler gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Leal is working an open guard so Wheeler takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Drake Leal seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Leal looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Wheeler tries to clinch up but Leal circles away and keeps his distance.
Drake Leal is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Leal closes the distance and clinches up with Wheeler, looking for a takedown. Leal pushes Wheeler against the cage but Wheeler circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Leal shoots in but Wheeler avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Wheeler is pressed up against the cage. Leal has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Wheeler down to the mat. Wheeler avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Leal is trying to trip Wheeler. He has hold of a leg but Wheeler is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Leal persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Wheeler is looking to stand up but Leal isn't so interested in that idea.
Leal slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Isaac Wheeler has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Drake Leal is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Leal stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Wheeler swivels though and keeps the full guard.

And that's the end of the fight!
Isaac Wheeler showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Leal has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
