The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, George Francis and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ramey circles away from the clinch attempt

and Ramey counters with a single leg into guard. Kruth Junior didn't expect that.
Ramey slips nicely into half guard, despite the strikes coming from Kruth Junior.

Ramey is trying to work for a kimura but Kruth Junior is defending well.
Kruth Junior wants to improve his position but Ramey is controlling well.

Ramey really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Kruth Junior throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Ramey decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.

Ramey is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Ramey wriggles free and stands up.

Ramey closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Kruth Junior quickly recovers to half guard.

Ramey slows the pace down in half guard.
Ramey seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Kruth Junior for as long as he can get away with.
Ramey's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Ramey is nestled in close to Kruth Junior, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kruth Junior strikes from the bottom but Ramey uses the opportunity to move to side control.

Ramey has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Kruth Junior!

Kruth Junior is trying to get back to his feet but Ramey has full control of the position and if anything, Kruth Junior has just worked his way into a worse spot.

Ramey has managed to slip his arm under Kruth Junior's chin. This could be all over... yep, Kruth Junior is tapping out! Submission win for Ramey.
