Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Angelo San Diego!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Fentz Straterloo!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Stewart Dunkirk and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
San Diego lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
San Diego has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Straterloo finds it's way round the side to connect with San Diego's head.

San Diego has Straterloo up against the cage in a clinch.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Straterloo creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Straterloo looks to throw an elbow but misses.
Straterloo misses with a punch on the inside.
San Diego digs a right hand underneath Straterloo's ribcage. Straterloo let out a lung full of air as it connected.
San Diego blocks a punch to the side of the head.

San Diego's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
San Diego misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Straterloo.
Straterloo is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Straterloo takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

San Diego closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
With the fighters up against the cage, Straterloo throws an elbow but misses.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

San Diego escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Straterloo feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to San Diego's calf.
San Diego swings and misses with a hook to the body.
San Diego throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

That's one minute gone in the round.
San Diego throws a combination that misses
and Straterloo counters with a stiff right hand.
Straterloo throws a body shot but no joy.
San Diego misses with an uppercut
and Straterloo cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
San Diego throws a looping overhand right but Straterloo ducks down to avoid it.
San Diego lands a jab to Straterloo's midsection.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Straterloo lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Straterloo lands a nice uppercut.
San Diego avoids a wild elbow strike from Straterloo.
San Diego trying to control the position but instead, Straterloo has worked for underhooks and has pushed San Diego into the cage.

San Diego pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
San Diego wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

San Diego ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Straterloo moves away.

Oooooh!!! San Diego has knocked Straterloo down with a huge combo! San Diego steps away and waves a wobbly Straterloo back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!


Straterloo is rocked!
San Diego shakes his hands by his side, trying to relax. Straterloo takes his eyes off the ball for a moment - San Diego sees the opportunity and cracks him with a massive hook! Straterloo bends double and collapses on top of himself - he's out! The crowd are going absolutely nuts! Wow, what a knockout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Angelo San Diego!

Angelo San Diego really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that IniTech Nutrition logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
The defeated Fentz Straterloo had this to say: 'Damn, he was trying to touch me where only my wife does and that wasn't cool yo...'.
