Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Parker Phoenix (ranked 1652 p4p, 227 weight class) and Buvaisar Hamidovich Saitiev (ranked 3525 p4p, 412 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 23 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Buvaisar Hamidovich Saitiev!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hamidovich Saitiev shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Phoenix as he avoids it easily.
Parker Phoenix seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Phoenix tests Hamidovich Saitiev's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Hamidovich Saitiev closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Hamidovich Saitiev crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Phoenix - the referee stops the clock and Hamidovich Saitiev gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Phoenix. Hamidovich Saitiev manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Hamidovich Saitiev tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Phoenix swivels and escapes.
Hamidovich Saitiev has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Phoenix.
Phoenix connects with a high kick.
Hamidovich Saitiev swings for the body but Phoenix moves out of range.
Phoenix connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Hamidovich Saitiev momentarily.
Phoenix lunges at Hamidovich Saitiev with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Hamidovich Saitiev's hand.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Nice takedown defense from Hamidovich Saitiev. No joy for Phoenix on that attempt.
Phoenix lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Phoenix's jab looks to have found its range, popping Hamidovich Saitiev under the eye.
Hamidovich Saitiev throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
No luck for Hamidovich Saitiev with that takedown attempt.
Parker Phoenix has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Buvaisar Hamidovich Saitiev.

Phoenix fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Hamidovich Saitiev on the side of the head.
Hamidovich Saitiev takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Hamidovich Saitiev shoots for a double leg takedown but Phoenix sprawls well. He's pushed Hamidovich Saitiev's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

A solid leg kick lands there for Phoenix.

Hamidovich Saitiev feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Phoenix is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Hamidovich Saitiev rolls with it to try and escape but Phoenix cranks on the arm and Hamidovich Saitiev is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
