Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Daniel Franklin and George Francis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morris closes the distance and clinches up with Benning, looking for a takedown. Morris pushes Benning against the cage but Benning circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Benning! But no joy.
Morris tries for a takedown but Benning circles away easily
and Benning counters with a nice uppercut.
Morris takes one to the chin there.
Benning lands a lovely overhand right.
Morris tries to close the distance and clinch up but Benning swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Benning showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Morris.
Benning is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Morris with a body shot.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Morris swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Benning swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.

and Benning cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Cluck Morris. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Morris loads up on a big right hand but Benning slips the punch.
Benning defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Morris.
Morris misses with the combination.
A nice side step and Benning releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Morris throws a sloppy head kick
and Benning makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Cluck Morris seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Morris throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Benning.

enabling Benning to counter with a crisp jab.
Morris takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Benning cracks Morris with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Morris looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Benning finish him?

Benning cracks Morris with a left hook right on the temple and Morris goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! Benning lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully Morris is OK!
