Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Viktor Lagutenko and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cross throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Matthews's waist but Matthews gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Cross off to one side.
Matthews throws a push kick but Cross slaps the foot to one side.
Cross shoots in looking for a takedown but Matthews manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Cross's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Cross circles away from the clinch attempt.
Matthews shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Matthews prevents Cross from improving his position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Matthews wants to get back to his feet.
Cross looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cross works his way to full guard. Good work.
Cross looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Matthews puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
Matthews tries to stand but his arm is trapped.

Cross looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Matthews stalling.
Cross is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Matthews's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Matthews's back!
Cross is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Matthews with him. Matthews is trying to defend but Cross has an arm under the chin now! Matthews grimaces and is forced to tap out!
