Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Lightning (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Cirianni (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lightning comes to the cage accompanied by Rosalita. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cirianni tries to clinch up.
Good leg kick by Cirianni there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Lightning shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Cirianni's guard.

Lightning shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Cirianni is staying active underneath Lightning, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Lightning has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

and Cirianni counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Lightning's guard now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Cirianni drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Cirianni jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Lightning stands and throws Cirianni's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Lightning is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Well Cirianni has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
