And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Vince Carter!
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Lou da Vinci and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carter lands a slapping body shot.
A punch combination from Ruffy misses.
Carter scores with a jab. Ruffy acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Carter bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Ruffy's head backwards.
Ruffy is breathing heavily.
Ruffy has his takedown stuffed
and Carter counters with a crisp one two that drops Ruffy! Carter thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Ruffy to his feet! Ruffy is in big trouble!
Ruffy is rocked!
Ruffy drops his hands momentarily. Carter doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Ruffy staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Ruffy doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Vince Carter!
