Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nick White (ranked 6263 p4p, 0 weight class) and Spider Long (ranked 6201 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

White clinches up against the cage.

Long tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. White just stands there and leans against the cage.

White ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. White no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Long drops back looking for a leg! White is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and White manages to kick Long off! Long jumps back into White's guard.

Long thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
White pulls Long in to control the position.
White knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Long on the ground.
