The judges for this bout are Josh West, Micheangelo Fripello and Roger Salmon.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The crowd cheers as Ishimura lands an impressive looking overhand right. Po doesn't seem phased though.
Ishimura connects with a looping right hand.

and Ishimura counters with a thumping low kick.
Po uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Ishimura.
Ishimura keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Ishimura lands a really nice looking cross but Po seems unphased.
Po misses with a left hand
and Ishimura makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Po really felt that one!

and Po takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Tong Po seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Po misses with an uppercut. Ishimura saw that one coming.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Ishimura! But no joy.
Po looks to score with a jab to the body but Ishimura is just out of range.
Po uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Ishimura.

Ishimura loads up on a big right hand but Po slips the punch.

Po keeps control of Ishimura as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Ishimura is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Po.
Po lands a big right hand that sends Ishimura crashing to the mat! Po stays standing though and waves Ishimura back to his feet!

Ishimura might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Po takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Po feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Ishimura sprawling to the canvas! Ishimura rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Po finish him?!

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Po walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Ishimura drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Po swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Ishimura's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tong Po!
Tong Po seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
