The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Como throws a body punch but Ward moves out of range.
Ward throws a hook but Como avoids it easily.
Como's jab looks to have found its range, popping Ward under the eye.
Como tries a head kick but it misses.
Como defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Ward.
Ward takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Como keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Como throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Como changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Left hook, right uppercut from Como.
Como comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Ward misses with a series of wild punches.
Ward tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Como lunges at Ward with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Ward's hand.
Ward is rocked!
Como connects with a superb combination that knocks Ward out cold! The referee charges across the mat and tackles Como before he can land any more shots to the unconscious Ward!
