The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cervantes fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Ironfang avoids it really well and circles away.
Ironfang fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Cervantes sprawls well initially but Ironfang persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Cervantes might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Cervantes is concentrating on defense, preventing Ironfang from advancing position.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Ironfang fails with an attempt to clinch.
Cervantes goes for a double leg but Ironfang avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Ironfang continues to drive forward.

Ironfang tries to close the distance and clinch up but Cervantes swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Ironfang closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Cervantes's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ironfang wants to control from the top but Cervantes keeps moving.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Cervantes is on top in guard.
Cervantes postures up in Ironfang's guard and throws a big left but Ironfang blocks it.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Ironfang lands a big head kick that sends Cervantes tumbling to the mat! Ironfang takes a step backwards and waves Cervantes back to his feet - he wants the finish!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Ironfang goes for a small jab and connects. Now Ironfang goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Cervantes stumbles back but Ironfang runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Cervantes to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Cervantes will ever be the same after a knockout like that.
