Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Perrin Aybara (ranked 3871 p4p, 76 weight class) and Tony Slevin (ranked 3924 p4p, 126 weight class). Slevin comes into a darkened arena with his song building. timber kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 23 - 19 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Perrin Aybara!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 16 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tony Slevin!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Cecil Peabody and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aybara misses with a series of wild punches.
Aybara lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Slevin circles away quickly and effectively.
Slevin throws a combination. Aybara tries to block but a couple of punches get through.


It looks like Perrin Aybara has been cut.
Slevin is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Aybara.
Aybara is looking to counter punch.
Slevin checks a leg kick nicely.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Slevin! But no joy.
Slevin displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Aybara throws out the jab.

Aybara has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Aybara seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Slevin does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Slevin is looking to control Aybara's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Slevin avoid being mounted?

It seemed like Slevin was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Slevin quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Aybara has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Slevin celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
