The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Caesar shoots in and drives through. Sorsa sprawls well.

Sorsa shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Sorsa passes to full mount!
Caesar tries to lock up and control but Sorsa gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Caesar is trying desperately to improve position.
Caesar is bucking up trying to escape but Sorsa cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

It looks like Juilius Caesar has been cut.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Sorsa working for a submission but Caesar is keeping him at bay.

Sorsa is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Caesar has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Caesar!
Caesar slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Caesar stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sorsa swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Sorsa looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Sorsa might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Sorsa looking for a sweep. Not yet Sorsa, not yet.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Sorsa is on top in guard.
Sorsa content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Caesar is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Sorsa slips nicely into half guard.

Sorsa seems to be looking for submissions.
Caesar on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.

Caesar is trying to control but Sorsa manages to pass to mount!

Caesar wants to hold on but Sorsa pushes him away.
Sorsa blocks Caesar's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom.

Sorsa is going olschool here, as he tries to force Caesar to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Caesar shrugs it off.

Caesar is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Caesar looks gassed!

Sorsa is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Caesar has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Sorsa landing strikes from the mount and Caesar is in trouble!
Caesar can't escape the position.
Sorsa connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Caesar is bucking up trying to escape but Sorsa cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Sorsa trying to control but Caesar is having none of it.
Sorsa lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Caesar tries to close the distance and clinch but Sorsa swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

and Sorsa counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Sorsa.

Sorsa drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Sorsa as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Caesar screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Sorsa! Nice submission victory there!
