The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Douglas moves out of range of the leg kick from Carter.
Douglas is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Carter.
Carter changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Douglas looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Carter working the strikes but Douglas uses the opportunity to regain half guard.

Carter is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Douglas defends it well.

Carter is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Douglas is just riding it out for now. Carter eventually gives up the hold.
