Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lucas Amorim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Elijah Carr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Amorim's entrance music is Blink 182 - Violence. A fine choice. The key to victory for Lucas Amorim has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Amorim lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Carr tries to bum rush Amorim with a series of wild strikes but Amorim uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Amorim throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Carr counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

and Carr counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.

Carr jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Amorim manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Carr is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Amorim defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

Amorim is trying to get back to his feet. He's worked up on to his knees and now he's on his feet with his head on the canvas, trying to shake Carr off. It looks like it's working - Carr slides off, much to his dismay, and we're back to standing! Amorim displaying calm under pressure there.
Amorim goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Amorim has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Amorim there as he acknowledges the shot.
Carr scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

and Carr counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Carr.
Carr tries to break the clinch but Amorim is controlling the position.
Carr is trying to maintain a safe position but Amorim gets an underhook and turns Carr into the cage.

Carr blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Carr gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Amorim.
