The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Haynes uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Campos.
Campos shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Haynes defends it nicely.
Haynes leaves Campos with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Haynes throws a big counter combination but Campos scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Campos tries for a takedown but Haynes circles away easily
and Haynes counters with a shoot takedown. Campos fights it but they end up in guard.
Harold Haynes has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rodrigo Campos.
Campos throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Campos is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Haynes wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Campos's closed guard. He's half up but Campos has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Campos pivots and extends the arm, Haynes falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Campos! Well done that man!
