Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Seth Sexton (ranked 3951 p4p, 446 weight class) and Kai Kha (ranked 2277 p4p, 293 weight class). Sexton comes to the cage accompanied by I'm too sexy - Right Said Fred. Kai Kha acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Seth Sexton!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Kai Kha!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Alan Glass and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sexton cracks Kha with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Kha throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Kha scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Sexton swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Kha.
Sexton staying out of range there.
Sexton goes for a double leg but Kha avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Kha continues to drive forward.
Sexton lands with a cross.
We've been hearing reports that Sexton has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Kha connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Sexton's hands.
Sexton swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Kha walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
A looping hook to the body misses from Sexton. Kha does a little dance to reset his feet.
Kha throws a fast counter high kick but Sexton manages to duck under it in time.
Nice body punch from Kha.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kha moves away from the strike by Sexton.
Sexton connects with a body shot.
Sexton pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Kha only half commits to the counter leg kick.
Kha swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Kha fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Sexton is out of range.

Kha circles away from the clinch attempt.
Sexton backing away here, and Kha unleashes a leg kick that just misses.
Sexton misses the shot to the body.
A shot to the liver by Sexton. Beautiful body shot.
Kha looks to land a body kick but Sexton moved away.
Sexton half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Nice straight punches there by Sexton. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Sexton.
Kai Kha is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Sexton shoots in looking for a takedown but Kha manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Sexton's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Kha misses with a kick to the body.
Kha throws out a loose jab but Sexton uses good head movement to avoid it.
Sexton tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kha swats him away and circles back towards the center.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Sexton is defended easily by Kha.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Seth Sexton. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Sexton misses with an uppercut.
Sexton on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Kha. Kha obviously looking to wear him down.
Kha slaps away a takedown attempt from Sexton, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Kha swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Sexton closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kha wants to control but Sexton postures up.

Sexton wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Kha, who protects the arm well.
Kha is looking to reverse the position.
Kha keeping his opponent close.

Sexton looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

Sexton fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Kha can't do much from the bottom here.
Sexton misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Kha tries to buck Sexton off but Sexton is having none of it.
Kha regains half guard there - taking advantage of Sexton's attempt to lay and pray for a moment.
Kha blocking the ground and pound attempt from Sexton.
Sexton has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Sexton wants to pass to mount but Kha is defending the position.
Kha gets full guard.

Kha keeping moving, preventing Sexton from controlling successfully.
Sexton postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Kha is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Sexton throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Kha works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Sexton accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Sexton stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kha swivels though and keeps the full guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Kha keeping moving, preventing Sexton from controlling successfully.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Kha ducks right into an uppercut from Sexton.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Seth Sexton dominated that round.

Sexton drives through and clinches with Kha against the cage.
Sexton changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Kha fights it off and pushes away nicely.

and Kha counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Kha is keen to just control but Sexton is a slippery customer.
Seth Sexton overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Kha is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Kha lands with a punch from half guard.
Sexton is looking to improve his position.
Kha scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Sexton gets full guard.

Sexton has an active guard here but Kha has managed to pass into half guard.
Kha wants to free his trapped foot but Sexton is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Kha seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Sexton working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kha doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Kha manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Kha pushes down on Sexton's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Sexton throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Kha escapes and throws Sexton's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Sexton takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Kha scores with a couple of short elbows.
Sexton tries to bench press Kha off him but Kha keeps the position.
Sexton is working hard here to advance position.
Sexton takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Sexton is looking for a sweep.
Kha lands a decent elbow from side control.
Kha scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Sexton to see if he's OK.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Kha looks up at the clock and then as Sexton takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Kha smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Sexton is rocked!
Kha lands a strong strike to the head of Sexton. That's dazed him! Kha looking to finish here. Sexton is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Kha lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kai Kha!
Kai Kha gave a mention to Sully's Bar & Grill in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
Seth Sexton was interviewed post fight and said 'Naaah, didn't happen. This was just a bad mushroom trip and I'm still undefeated! '.
