The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Solberg lands a head kick. Tauer smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Solberg scores with a jab. Tauer acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Solberg avoids a punch combination nicely.
Tauer throws a body shot but no joy.
Solberg pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Tauer looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

A lazy left from Tauer finds it's target.
Solberg misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Tauer bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Solberg's head.

Tauer throws a series of punches but Solberg avoids them all with ease.
Solberg shoots in looking for a takedown. Tauer tries to sprawl out of it but Solberg keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Tauer manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Solberg takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
