Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Kentucky Fried!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Paul Tew and James Ackerman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Patterson tries a head kick but it misses.
Fried misses the jab.

Fried clinches up with Patterson and pushes him back against the cage.
Patterson has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Fried is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Fried has Patterson pressed against the cage.
Patterson tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

Patterson gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Patterson lands strikes from half guard.
Fried is trying to get back to full guard.
Patterson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Fried goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Patterson is on top in guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

You get the feeling that Fried really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Fried tries to buck Patterson off but he can't manage it.

Fried really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Patterson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Patterson raining down shots from the mount!
Patterson breaks from Fried's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Patterson lands a heavy elbow.
Patterson landing punches.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Patterson won't let Fried get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Fried's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Patterson is trying to maintain a safe position but Fried gets an underhook and turns Patterson into the cage.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Fried stops a takedown attempt from Patterson.

Patterson ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Patterson no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Fried has gone for a leg lock! Patterson slips out almost immediately though and dives into Fried's guard.

Fried wants to get back to his feet but Patterson is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Fried utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Fried scrambles and gets back to his feet.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Fried moves into range and clinches up with Patterson.

And that's the end of the fight!
Kentucky Fried comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Fried has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In his post fight interview, Kentucky Fried started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
