Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kenith Jenova (ranked 711 p4p, 100 weight class) and Kim Il Sung (ranked 2022 p4p, 263 weight class). Il Sung has chosen Death in Vegas- Dirt as his entrance music. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Il Sung feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Il Sung drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Jenova manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Il Sung has Jenova in his guard.

Il Sung has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Jenova is working away from the top position though.
Jenova is nestled in close to Il Sung, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Jenova connects with a nice short shot to Il Sung's temple.

Jenova looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Il Sung with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Jenova got a little sloppy there for a moment and Il Sung has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Jenova has managed to get both his arms back between Il Sung's legs - danger averted.
