Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Chico Lincoln (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ronald Kabulla (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Chico Lincoln!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ronald Kabulla!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and .




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kabulla instigates a clinch.

Kabulla pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Ronald Kabulla seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lincoln keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Horrible takedown by Kabulla or perhaps it was just good defense by Lincoln which made him look bad.
Lincoln closes the distance looking to clinch

and Kabulla holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Kabulla has Lincoln pressed against the cage.
Lincoln tries a knee to the head but he's missed.

Kabulla manages to pull guard.
Lincoln working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Kabulla looking to control.
Lincoln stopping the sweep attempt from Kabulla.
Lincoln tries to stand but Kabulla is controlling from the bottom.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Lincoln throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Lincoln wants to stand and escape but instead Kabulla has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Kabulla stops Lincoln from standing up.
Kabulla trying to control but Lincoln is working from the bottom.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Lincoln tries to clinch but Kabulla moves out of range.
Kabulla connects with a high kick.


It looks like Chico Lincoln has been cut.
Kabulla shoots in looking for a takedown. Lincoln tries to sprawl out of it but Kabulla keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Lincoln manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Chico Lincoln has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ronald Kabulla.
Lincoln wants to clinch

so Kabulla counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Kabulla is looking to work some ground and pound but Lincoln has wrist control.

Lincoln working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kabulla doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Lincoln is tightening it up a little... Kabulla has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Kabulla reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Kabulla taps out! nice BJJ there by Lincoln!
