The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ever avoids the head kick by Sevilla.
Sevilla dives in and grabs Ever's left leg, looking for a takedown. Ever pushes down on Sevilla's head and hops out.
Ever looks to land a left hand but Sevilla moved out of range nicely.
Sevilla fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Sevilla is looking to clinch.
Sevilla tries for a takedown but Ever circles away easily
and Ever counters with a left to the body.
Best Ever has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Syn Sevilla.
Sevilla changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ever tries to avoid it but Sevilla manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ever to the ground. Ever escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Ever is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Best Ever seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sevilla is looking to clinch but Ever is avoiding it.
Ever throws a looping overhand right but Sevilla ducks down to avoid it.
Nice shot lands for Ever.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
