Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Fernando Oliveira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and DeSean JackSon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as DeSean JackSon enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Daniel Cesar and Thiago Cunha.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
JackSon fails to land the takedown.
JackSon shoots in but Oliveira avoids the takedown attempt easily.
JackSon takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Oliveira gets the takedown into side control.
Oliveira trying to control the position but JackSon is working away.

Oliveira cracks JackSon with a big right hand but JackSon just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Oliveira is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but JackSon is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
JackSon tries to improve position but can't.
Oliveira wants to lay and pray for a moment but JackSon keeps working.
JackSon tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Oliveira wants to stand but JackSon is controlling his arm.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Oliveira feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Oliveira has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
JackSon wants to sweep here but Oliveira controlling him for the moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

JackSon escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Oliveira gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

JackSon working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Oliveira doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oliveira manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

JackSon is looking to sinch up a triangle. Oliveira throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to JackSon's body to avoid the submission. JackSon has instead reached around Oliveira's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! JackSon arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
