and Tigiev counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Tigiev scores with a shot to the body.

Hoi gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Tigiev counters with a nice uppercut.
Hoi throws a combination that misses
letting Tigiev counter with a right hand.
Tigiev on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Hoi. Hoi obviously looking to wear him down.
Hoi connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Hoi misses with a left hand
and Tigiev counters with a stiff right hand.

Hoi misses with a lunging right hand
enabling Tigiev to counter with a crisp jab.
Hoi tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Tigiev was well out of range. Poor timing from Hoi.
Despite the aggression on Tigiev's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Hoi shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Tigiev as he jumps to the side.

Hoi throws a lazy uppercut
and Tigiev counters with a right hand to the body.
Hoi shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Tigiev counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Tigiev swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Hoi throws a leg kick
and Tigiev counters with a straight right hand.
Hoi lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Hoi misses with a body shot.
Tigiev keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Hoi connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Hoi throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Tigiev connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Hoi throws a sloppy body shot
and Tigiev counters with a nice body shot.
A nice inside leg kick there by Hoi. That's going to slow Tigiev down.

and Tigiev connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hoi comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

and Tigiev counters with a crisp right hand that drops Hoi! Tigiev lets Hoi back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

and Tigiev counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Hoi is rocked!
Hoi walks into a jab.
Oh Hoi is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Sarmat Tigiev is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Hoi seems to have got his legs back now.
Hoi rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Tigiev counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Hoi is breathing heavily.
Hoi misses with a left hand
and Tigiev counters with a nice right hand that sends Hoi toppling to the canvas! Hoi scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Tigiev finish him?!
Hoi looks up at the clock. Bad move! Tigiev lands a right hand from hell, dropping Hoi. Tigiev pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sarmat Tigiev!
