Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Alka Mangrove (ranked 450 p4p, 52 weight class) and Head Coach (ranked 652 p4p, 77 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Alka Mangrove!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 26 - 16 - 3, fighting out of London, Head Coach!

Coach has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Mangrove can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Mangrove sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Coach's guard.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Coach is not content to let Mangrove control the position.
Coach felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
Mangrove seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

Coach lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Mangrove circles away quickly and effectively.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
