Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Meat Balls !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Carson Palmer!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Robert Twigg and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Palmer moves into the clinch.
Palmer lands with a short punch from the clinch.
The referee calls for Palmer to work.
A short right from Palmer on the inside.
Palmer lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Balls backwards.
A short uppercut from Palmer.
Balls is trying to pull guard but Palmer has him pressed against the cage.
Palmer lands a left hand that snaps the head of Balls backwards.
Balls trying to control the position but instead, Palmer has worked for underhooks and has pushed Balls into the cage.
Palmer lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Balls backwards.
Balls tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Palmer just stands there and leans against the cage.
Palmer gets through Balls 's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Palmer misses with an elbow strike.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Palmer lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Palmer lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Palmer pushes Balls back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Palmer prevents Balls from breaking the clinch.

Palmer breaks from the clinch.

Palmer gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Balls ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Balls no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Palmer stops Balls from standing up.
Palmer throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Balls works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Palmer prevents Balls from getting back to his feet.
Balls avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Palmer lands a couple of digs.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Palmer accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Palmer throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

Balls has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Palmer should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Balls has tightened it up now! Palmer should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
