Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Steven Kennedy (ranked 3489 p4p, 62 weight class) and Damien Demento (ranked 2713 p4p, 52 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kennedy throws a leg kick

and Demento counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Demento.
Demento loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kennedy has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Demento is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Kennedy.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Demento is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Kennedy's shoulder. That is not cool.
