Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tiny Tim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Seppo Raty (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Seppo Raty has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Raty is looking to clinch but Tim is avoiding it.
Tim connects with a right hand. Raty shakes it off.

It looks like Seppo Raty has been cut.
Tim shoots for a double leg takedown but Raty sprawls well. He's pushed Tim's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Tim fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Tim looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Raty is fending him off so far but Tim persists. Nope, Raty circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tiny Tim. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Tim throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Tim misses with the combination.
Tim throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Tim tries to clinch but Raty moves away

and Raty counters with a nice double leg into side control. Tim won't be happy with that.
Tim is breathing heavily.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Raty wants to take a breather but Tim manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Raty.
Tim wants to stand but Raty is controlling the position.
Raty slips nicely into half guard.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Raty is trying to control the action in half guard but Tim is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Raty works his way into side control.
Raty advances to full mount.
Tim sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.

Raty postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Tim to stand up.
Tim looks to land a combination but Raty avoids it well.
Tiny Tim seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Raty bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Tim takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Raty wants to lay and pray for a moment but Tim keeps working.

Raty is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Tim knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Raty tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Tim is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Raty is controlling him well.
Tim on the wrong end of some ground and pound.

Raty thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Raty tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Raty has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Raty misses with the ground and pound.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Tim prevents Raty from moving into mount.
Tim throws a couple of strikes even though he's not really in a good position to do so.
Tim is trying to improve his position.

Raty working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Tim tries for a takedown but Raty circles away easily

and Raty counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Tim is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Tim trying to control from the bottom.

Tim pushes Raty off and gets back to his feet.
Tim wants to land a leg kick but Raty is out of range.
Raty shoots in looking for a takedown. Tim tries to sprawl out of it but Raty keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Tim manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Tim throws a series of punches but Raty avoids them all with ease.

and Raty counters by moving into the clinch.
Tim wants to break free but Raty has control.

Raty pulls Tim into guard.
Tim throws a big right hand that misses.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Raty has a closed guard, preventing Tim from standing up.
Raty avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Tim swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Tiny Tim is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Tim wants to clinch

so Raty counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Seppo Raty has got the better of the ground game so far.
Raty postures up.
Tim has momentary wrist control but Raty slips an elbow through the middle.
Raty stands and throws Tim's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Raty tries for a kimura but Tim is defending well.
Tim is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Raty asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Tim is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
Tim tries to bench press Raty off him but Raty keeps the position.
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Raty. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.
Raty prevents Tim from escaping the position.

Raty is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Tim is trying to escape and Raty transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Tim is forced to tap! Nice work there by Raty! Very nice indeed!
