Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Judson Booth (ranked 8975 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harvey Guillard (ranked 6520 p4p, 0 weight class). Harvey Guillard will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Harvey Guillard!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Lou da Vinci and Russell Pearce.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Guillard scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.

Booth throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!

Guillard shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Guillard showed some decent athleticism there.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Booth is looking to improve his position.
Booth is trying to maintain the position but Guillard is very close to passing his half guard.
Well, if Guillard is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Guillard is looking for a kimura but Booth is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Guillard to get the leverage.

It looks like Guillard might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Guillard in particular looking to stall.
Let's hope that Guillard has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Booth's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Booth is fighting off a takedown attempt but Guillard is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Booth to the mat. Booth regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Guillard postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Guillard jumps guard and drags Booth to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Guillard is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Guillard is trying to control. Booth wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Booth is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Guillard is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Harvey Guillard showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Booth's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Guillard changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Booth looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

I really don't envy Booth right now.
Booth is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.

Well Guillard has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
