Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Filiberto Pruitt!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Magyan Murko!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Daniel Franklin and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pruitt ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Pruitt slips a jab from Murko.
Murko throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
As Murko tries to get set, Pruitt tries to push him back and clinch up but Murko manages to avoid the attempt.
Pruitt looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Murko is fending him off so far but Pruitt persists. Nope, Murko circles away and we're back to standing.
Murko appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Horrible takedown attempt by Pruitt or perhaps it was just good defense by Murko, which made it look bad.
Murko gets tackled into the cage by Pruitt. Pruitt maintains the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A nice left hand lands by Murko.
Murko lands an uppercut.
A shot in the inside from Murko.
A short right from Murko.
Pruitt is rocked!
Murko lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Oh Pruitt is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Pruitt blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Pruitt.
Murko swings wildly with an uppercut but Pruitt uses good head movement to avoid it.
Murko creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Pruitt's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Pruitt drops to his knees and Murko pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Magyan Murko!
