Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jonny Le Pizon (ranked 1805 p4p, 239 weight class) and Dave Schultz (ranked 2966 p4p, 367 weight class). Jonny Le Pizon has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jonny Le Pizon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dave Schultz!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schultz thows a body kick. Le Pizon tries to catch it but that hurt him.
A combination from Schultz does no damage.
Le Pizon appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Schultz lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Le Pizon has his takedown stuffed
and Schultz counters with a three punch combo that has Le Pizon backing up. Le Pizon nods at Schultz to acknowledge the strikes.
Le Pizon changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Schultz tries to avoid it but Le Pizon manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Schultz to the ground. Schultz escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Schultz lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Le Pizon takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
It looks like Jonny Le Pizon has been cut.
Le Pizon will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jonny Le Pizon. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Schultz lands a big head kick that sends Le Pizon tumbling to the mat! Schultz takes a step backwards and waves Le Pizon back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Le Pizon is rocked!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Le Pizon loses concentration momentarily and Schultz pounces with a three punch combo! Right, left, right! Le Pizon crashes face first to the mat, out cold! Schultz finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.
