The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Anderson is defended easily by Workman.

Anderson changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Workman looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Anderson misses with the ground and pound.

Anderson swings around for an armbar but Workman sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Anderson's guard.
Workman is looking to stand up but Anderson won't let him.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Anderson can do anything to dispel that myth.
Workman is looking to work some ground and pound but Anderson has wrist control.
Anderson bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Workman's guard.

Anderson is fighting to break Workman's control of his arms but Workman is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Anderson postures up and lands a big shot to Workman's brow.
Workman trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!
Workman preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

Anderson stopping the sweep attempt from Workman.
Anderson controlling from the top position.
Workman pulls Anderson in close to prevent any damage.
Workman is trying to control the position but Anderson postures up.
Anderson postures up and lands a big shot to Workman's brow.
Anderson chips away with some ground and pound.
Anderson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Workman. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Anderson stands up over Workman, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Anderson stays in close to Workman's body and controls the position.

Oh Workman is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Anderson loads up on a big left hand. Workman felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Anderson looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Workman can't hide his disappointment, as Anderson celebrates the victory.
