Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Adam Mockery (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Phil Flacco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Adam Mockery has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mockery looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Flacco is fending him off so far but Mockery persists. Nope, Flacco circles away and we're back to standing.
Flacco looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Mockery keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Mockery feints and then cracks Flacco's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Flacco down.
Mockery throws a nice looking combination but Flacco bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Mockery throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

and Flacco decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Mockery's guard.

Mockery pushes Flacco off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Mockery throws a series of punches but Flacco moves out of range.

Mockery shoots in looking for a takedown. Flacco tries to sprawl out of it but Mockery keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Flacco manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Flacco drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Mockery manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Flacco has Mockery in his guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Mockery takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Flacco is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Mockery avoids the attempt from Flacco to control.
Flacco sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Flacco pushes Mockery off looking to stand but Mockery dives back in and keeps control.
Mockery is looking to take a break and control but Flacco is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Mockery might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Flacco tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Flacco swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Mockery is now in Flacco's guard. A big mistake from Flacco there, giving up the dominant position!
Phil Flacco has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Adam Mockery is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Flacco working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Mockery doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Mockery manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
