The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Dogg is defended easily by Lesley.
It seemed like Lesley was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Dogg could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Dogg fails with the takedown.
Dogg gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Lesley counters with a lovely shot to the body.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Slum Dogg. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Dogg tries for a takedown but Lesley sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Lesley clinches.
Lesley lands on the inside with an uppercut.

Lesley's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Dogg fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Lesley avoids it really well and circles away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dogg has his takedown stuffed
and Lesley counters with a three punch combo that has Dogg backing up. Dogg nods at Lesley to acknowledge the strikes.

It looks like Slum Dogg has been cut.

Sloppy strikes from Lesley. Those never looked like landing.
Lesley looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Dogg is trying hard to land a takedown here. Lesley sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Dogg fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Lesley avoids it really well and circles away.
Lesley shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Dogg eats them both and turns towards Lesley to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Dogg dives in and grabs Lesley's left leg, looking for a takedown. Lesley pushes down on Dogg's head and hops out.

Lesley drops Dogg with a beautiful combination! Dogg stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Lesley is looking for the KO!

Dogg is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Lesley lands a big right hook! Dogg looks hurt but is still standing! Lesley lands a left jab and another right hook! This time Dogg falls down and Lesley dives in with a huge hammer fist! Dogg's eyes roll back! The referee calls for the bell and Lesley runs up the cage to celebrate with his fans!

After winning the bout, Dusty Lesley thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
