Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Iku Turso (ranked 1633 p4p, 244 weight class) and Ali Bagov (ranked 2510 p4p, 374 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Iku Turso!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ali Bagov!
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Jonathan Paton and Dean Styles.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bagov shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Bagov was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Turso on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Turso tries to get out of the position.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Turso is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at Seppo's Massage Temple , so we'll see if he gets out of it.

Bagov is trying to get an arm triangle but Turso is defending well.

Bagov working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Bagov working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Bagov tries to pass to full mount but Turso defends it.

Bagov has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Bagov slows the pace down in half guard.
Bagov wants to take a breather but Turso is having none of it.

We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Ali Bagov showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. And we move into the final round!


Bagov dives in for a single leg takedown but Turso sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
As Bagov tries to get set, Turso tries to push him back and clinch up but Bagov manages to avoid the attempt.
Bagov tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Turso defends well and Bagov ends up having to push Turso into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Turso is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Bagov.

Turso is looking to slow Bagov down with leg kicks.
