The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sargent fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Stratford, pushing him back against the cage.
Sargent really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Sargent gets control of Stratford's arms and successfully pulls guard. Sargent will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Sargent wants to sweep here but Stratford controlling him for the moment.
Sargent lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Sargent avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Stratford is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sargent won't allow Stratford to sweep him here.

Stratford seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Stratford is trying to control the position but Sargent postures up.
