Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Sergei Krylov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Matheus Silva and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Krylov looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Krylov looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Souza controls Krylov momentarily but Krylov frees himself.
Souza has his foot on Krylov's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Krylov works his way back into a safe position though.
Krylov engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Souza looking for a guillotine here but Krylov defends easily.
Souza wants to sweep but no luck.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Krylov stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Souza swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Souza has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Combate Gym 🇧🇷. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Souza is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Souza looking for a sweep. Not yet Souza, not yet.
Krylov stays in close to Souza's body and controls the position.
Krylov has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Krylov knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Souza on the ground.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Krylov seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Krylov looks to score with a jab to the body but Souza is just out of range.
Souza fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Souza ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Krylov digs a good hook to Souza's body.
Souza is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Souza misses with a straight left.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Left hook, right uppercut from Souza.
Donk. Krylov catches Souza right on the button with a cross.
It looks like Luiz Souza has been cut.
Krylov tries to score a power double leg takedown but Souza sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Krylov somewhat.
Souza tries to counter with a clinch but Krylov shakes him off and moves away.
Souza takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Souza misses with a wild body shot.
Souza keeps the fight on the outside.
Krylov lands with a straight right. Souza didn't see that one coming.
Souza is rocked!
Krylov dodges the punch combination from Souza.
Souza is still on wobbly legs! Can Krylov finish him?
Souza drops his hands momentarily. Krylov doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Souza staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Souza doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Sergei Krylov!
