Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ickey Woods (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kristian Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Woods comes to the cage accompanied by System of a Down- Chop Suey. Kristian Black has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Black fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Woods to the ground. Black is now in Woods's guard.

Woods throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Black postures up.
Black throwing strikes but missing.
Woods controls Black momentarily but Black frees himself.
Woods is really struggling to control Black but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Black is looking to work some ground and pound but Woods has wrist control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Black trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Black prevents Woods from getting back to his feet.
Black postures up.
Woods definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Woods has Black pulled in close to control his posture.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Black accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Black wants to pass the guard but Woods is keeping the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Woods working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Black.
Black landing some decent shots from guard.
Black trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

Woods had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Black defends it easily.
Black works over Woods with some ground and pound from guard.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Black trying to control the position from guard on top but Woods is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Black postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.

Black got a little sloppy there for a moment and Woods has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Black has managed to get both his arms back between Woods's legs - danger averted.
Black wants to control from the top but Woods keeps moving.
Black scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Woods managing to control the position.
Woods controls Black momentarily but Black frees himself.
Black lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Woods has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Black can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Woods doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

The fighters are battling for position here. Woods manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Black is looking to work some ground and pound but Woods has wrist control.
Black tries to free his leg and advance position but Woods is retaining full guard.

Woods has his foot on Black's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Black works his way back into a safe position though.
Woods is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Black really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Woods. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Black wants to control from the top but Woods keeps moving.

Black pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Woods is keeping the position for now.
Black lands a couple of decent looking shots.

Woods is looking to cinch up a triangle. Black throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Woods's body to avoid the submission. Woods has instead reached around Black's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Woods arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
